The Economy Minister for France is set to attend an international technology conference in Las Vegas to see for himself the influence that France is having and has had on the technology sector.

Emmanuel Macron, who has been the Minister for Economy since 2014, will be paying a visit to the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), which takes place at various locations throughout Las Vegas. Owned and produced by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), the CES is a celebration of the innovative technologies that fuel the world around us. Just a few of the technology categories that the CES displays are Health and Biotech, Internet Services, and Wearables. Many world-changing announcements regarding technology have been made at the CES, including the unveiling of the DVD, the first Videocassette Recorder (VCR), and the CD player, to name a few.
